Roaming in the Canary Islands.

I have a £10.00 everything monthly pack. I want to set up EU Roaming for the time I'm away but I can't seem to find out how to do it. Last time I went all I had to do was text ROAMEU7 to 150 and I got 7 days of roaming paid for out of my balance. Is this still possible?  The EE site has completely baffled me!

Thanks

@KayEmm1 : To use your pack allowances in the EU on PAYG there are roaming charges of either £2.50 / day, by having texted ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by having texted ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival telling you about these charges for roaming in EU & inviting to take up these options. If you opt to reply neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & will need to buy a PAYG add-on for data.

Just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

Hi @KayEmm1

Welcome to the community.

It would be exactly the same as last time for you to be able to use your pack allowances when you are in the Canary Islands.

You'll get a text when you arrive to give you the 7 day option for £10 or the daily option for £2.50 per day. There is also more information on the add-ons on our Pay As You Go charges for roaming in the EU page.

Have a fantastic trip.

Michael

Thank you for taking the time to reply.  I'm really grateful to you. It seems easy enough 😁

Hi Michael,  thanks so much for your reply. I'll look out for the text...it was easy enough last time, even for a technophobe like me 😁
