Roaming in USA

This is complete nonsense. I am currently in the usa and this morning had a text to tell me what great news it was you have simplified my roaming inclusive extra to only use in EU. 

I am now stuck in the USA unable to use my phone. You advised I could chage to the ROW1 package which includes usa but big surprise the website gives an error when changing it.

Bye bye EE - 3 contracts going elsewhere when I get home.

You cant call customer service from the USA without paying all you get is a text back saying this call will take you over your spending cap. So more nonsense Ali_A.

Why weren’t customers given advanced notice of this?

Hope any others affected talk to Ofcom as I will be.

Are you saying you've lost coverage of any US networks? That won't have anything to do with your billing add-on if so.

I got hold of EE customer services and the guy was like WHAT? He did not know and his team did not know this change was pushed out

 

goid news is he changed both the phones I have to ROW1. No matter what I did using the EE app or on website it just would not change

 

Now in USA and all working

BUT

 

this is stal bad from EE no matter what folk say even if they did tell folk months ago the fact is their software is. It allowing changes so it’s busted
