Roaming Issues - unable to make calls and send texts

I am in Japan. I activated £7.50 worth of roaming for a day. Later in the week I  did another day's worth  which didn't work. Now  I can get data but without the benefit of the one day roaming pack but can't send texts ( can receive texts from EE ) so I can't do any texts to 150. I also am unable to make phone calls. So, one day everything was working - now nothing is working. Can't call EE from here on another phone. Can't chat to a human because Aimee the Bot  just says it can't help and ends conversation. I need to make calls and text while I  am here. I have followed all the VPN, switch on/switch off and manually choosing network without success. Please help

It sounds like you have tried everything at your end and we would need to get this investigated. To do this, you would need to call us from any other phone on +44 (0)7953 966 150 and the team will be able to help you further.

Thanks for coming here. 

Do you get an error when trying to purchase the roaming pack?

Can you confirm if you have a Spend Cap on your account that could be stopping you purchasing another bundle?

Didn't get an error and I was charged for it. My spend cap is set at £50 and it won't let me put more on. £50 seems to be the highest anyway. My new billing started yesterday and I havent used a ything that is roaming

I forgot to mention, I can use data at the normal, very expensive, rate but still can't text out or phone out
