Recieved incorrect roaming text

I've arrived in USA but have not recieved the correct text message regarding the roaming passes. I'm looking for to add the 7 day Zone 1 pass.

I've had two calls with EE tech who could not help me and have now reached my roaming spend cap of £40 on just two calls.

Can anyone on here help me as the chat on the app is useless.

So what text have you received and what happens when you try and go to the add-on page and buy the 7 day pass?

@dkaczur7  How have you reached your spend cap limit when the daily rate of £5 would allow you to use your call/text allowance.  This is automatically charged if you don’t purchase any other add on to get you a better overall cost.  

Out of curiosity have you tried just restarting the device?  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I reached my spend cap on the two calls i recieved from ee when they were trying to work out the problem. All i wanted was the 24hr zone 1 pass.

I have nothing to suggest the pass is activated, in theory I need the test message first in order to set it up, per the ee website instructions.

Yes tried restarting my phone.

Hi Chistery,

The text i got was for atravel daily pass  500mb for £6.74 per day?? When i spoke to ee they said this text is incorrect and is for a different zone... they weren't sure how to fix the issue, I just kept getting passed around.

What happens if you go to the add-on page? Do you get offered the correct pass?

I'm sorry you are having trouble getting the right pass and our team have been unable to solve this for you.

The text message seems to think you have a different add on, is this showing in your online account in the add-ons section?
