Paid for USA roam abroad pass £25 month. I went into my local EE shop and they added it to start on 31/08/24 I arrived in California yesterday 31/08/24 and mobile phone has not connected to service provider T- Mobile As it should ??? Is now 2 /09/24 and i STILL do NOT have data. I've turned my mobile off and on. turned off WiFi and back on. I did not receive a 'welcome to the United States of America' text. ?? I NEED DATA. Please help is early evening here in California and early a.m. in England

@JT51954 : As you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.
Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.
Otherwise you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
