I am currently in New Zealand and have a e sim activated. My EE  sim is deactivated with data roaming turned off but I keep getting charged loads of money! I also can’t see my bill because the app isn’t working so I don’t know why!!!!

Hi @kitobutterworth

Welcome to the community.

Do you know what it is that you're being charged for? Are you able to access the app and bill this morning?

Chris

@kitobutterworth  Is this bill above your normal monthly cost ?

Data roaming just means using mobile data whilst roaming, it doesn't impact voice-roaming or text-roaming.

Charges can be incurred for making & receiving calls, and sending texts whilst abroad. If your EE SIM is deactivated and thus not connected to a local Kiwi network, no roaming charges can be incurred.
