Incredibly disappointed with the EE roaming service

Travelling in Australia, the EE service has been appalling, the network connection is constantly failing, requiring a phone restart to reconnect. I would not recommend EE as a service provider. Avoid.

EE's roaming services allow use of local networks in foreign countries.

A phone set to automatic network selection should always resolve a "no service" scenario of its own accord once coverage is available.

@Daffyjkl  Your not using EEs network when abroad your using the roaming network,  you say you need to restart the device to make a connection so obviously roaming is enabled on your account for you to connect to a roaming network but it’s that’s networks connection that you are using not EEs.  EE have no control of that network just like they have no control of your device and it losing a network connection.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Daffyjkl , have you done a manual search to see if that solves the problem, as it has nothing to do with EE, as you are using a network in another country and it is down to them, that you are having this problem?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Some degree of steering towards certain networks would be expected, with some operators "preferred" and others "allowed".

Auto-selection should mean that "no service" scenarios are resolved without needing user intervention.
