I tried to set up data roaming before going abroad. But got a text to say do it when abroad. Now im abroad and cant do anything because i have reached my spend cap (im suppose to get a text to let me know when this happens).
I can seem to contact anyone at EE without increasing the spend cap, but cant increase the spend cap without data??
cant find a contact us or anything. Anybody have any suggestions please?

Hello @escottl100.
Thanks for coming here, I'd love to try help.
Did you activate roaming before leaving the UK this can be done by texting ROAMING to 150?
Once you arrive at your destination you should have received a welcome text with your pass options, it would be great to know if you received this?
You can also increase your spend cap within your EE account online.
Speak soon,
Katie

Thanks so much for getting back to me @escottl100.
Are you connected to WiFi when clicking on the link?
To purchase a pass you will need to ensure you don't have a spend cap in place to restrict the purchase.

Data roaming just means using mobile data when already roaming.
Thus enabling roaming on your account/SIM is far more important than just toggling "data roaming" on your phone.

Was using this forum speaking to Katie and then it just stop delivering my messages.
do I have to start over? Is it worth bothering or will this happen again?

If you can access your EE App over a Wifi Connection, you should be able to go to to the Profile in the top right then Settings > Spend Cap and you can change it in there.
