Welcome to the Community, @Wilson12345.

Whilst purchasing a roaming add-on will provide you with an allowance to use whilst you're abroad, this does not actually activate the ability to roam on your account. 

Before you travelled did you send a text with ROAMING to 150 to check you were set up?

Also when you landed did you receive a welcome text?

Hi Peter yes I done all that and got the text. Got the 7 day pass for £37.50

Can you please try another call, but dial the number manually making sure to use the +44 UK country code in place of 0 at the start of the number?

Also do you know if you're able to receive calls, or use other services such as mobile internet?
