Thanks for the reply. The NOS network seems to work intermittently now - maybe they have started to fix things. I can see the Meo and Vodafone networks, try to connect, but they don’t do much- ie no service from them. Will leave it on the NOS network and see if it gets better / more stable

I am in the same position. I live in Portugal. I Can't make calls on portuguese phone or uk iphone since the blackout. Can't call EE and can't get livechat either so no way of contacting them. very frustrating. whatsapp facetime all ok though

Interesting info that local Portugese subscribers are also affected.

Whereas earlier NOS worked for me intermittently- it now doesn’t. I checked with my Portuguese neighbours- and theirs all works for them. I think EE needs to take action and talk to its network providers in Portugal and ask what is happening…..

Me too - been on to EE and tried selecting NOS/MEO etc still no joy. They say they are aware of the issue and are working on it. I’m a business user and spend 80% of my time in Portugal - it’s more than frustrating !

In Portugal and same issue as all the other users and tried every trick and spoken at length to EE on the phone. They said they don’t know why. It is since the power cut as was working fine before. I’m very tech savvy but just don’t have an answer on this one.
NOS is only network that gives me signal (or 268 03, which is also NOS) but won’t make calls. All very strange.

NOS use 268-03 & 268-93, I'm not sure on why the duplicate code.
I would like to hope that EE have an open fault ticket for this issue - with examples cited, but ultimately with the problem very likely being off-net.
