When in the UK, EE provide full modern Internet connectivity with IPv6 as well as backwards compatibility to legacy IPv4 sites.
However when roaming (iPhone 16) the connection seems to be downgraded to legacy IPv4, and IPv6-only resources are inaccessible. Tested this in both China and Thailand recently. Local simcards provided full IPv6 connectivity in both cases.
Can this be fixed? I notice that iOS does not allow the APN settings to be changed from the UI, but would using Apple Configurator to load a custom profile work?
