Best option for Roaming for 3 day trip to France

Hi, grateful for some help working out the best option for roaming while on a short (3 day) trip to France.

Website info says it costs £2.59 a day, or you can pay £15 fora 7 day pass.

Then it says you are charged £1.74 per min for calls unless you have a pass.

Does this mean that if I don't get a 7 day pass, I'll be charged £2-59 plus the additional per minute costs of calls? (And a charge per text too?)

I have tried calling to sort this out and it's hopeless. Got directed to a text based system which asked what county I was travelling to and couldn’t cope with France.
Grateful fir some advice!

@Shloo  You’re best bet is to use the daily rate and no you’ll not be charged more because your paying the daily rate to use your allowances.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

No, the daily pass covers all your UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more.

Thanks both, really helpful .  Is there anything I need to do to make sure roaming is switched on?  I’ve seen advice about texting to 150 but not sure if that’s the old system?

Yes, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
