I am currently in The Philippines and trying to discover how to get the Data Travel Pass.

The website tells me to text TRAVEL to 150 but the message will not send.

Any ideas please?

At last success!  I went on EE App > Manage>Mobile & SIMs and scroll down to Add-ons>See all add-ons>Data Pass View

The page identified the country we are in and gives various price and MB options.

Easy peasy when you know how.

Thanks everyone for advice.

@dande : Did you activate roaming on your account before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? If not, you have no ability to use your phone abroad and you'll need to contact CS to request it.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Many thanks for your quick reply.  No, I didn't activate Roaming before leaving the UK.

However, during our one month here, I have sent maybe a dozen text messages to UK mobile numbers without any problem.

Ah, OK. You must have had roaming activated from a previous trip.

I've an idea that 150 may not work outside EU.

Thanks for further reply.

Is it possible to access Data Travel Pass without phoning EE from The Philippines as 150 doesn't work by texting TRAVEL?

I can get full information about the Pass but no way of "signing up".

Hi there @dande

Thanks for coming to the community 🙂

If you log into your EE app and select mobile add-ons, roaming, do you have the option to add the Travel Data Pass?

If this is not showing, you would need to give us a call and the team will be happy to help.

Leanne.

Many thanks for your response, Leanne.

No, Travel Data Pass does not show as an option.

I just wanted to avoid an expensive phone call and surprised it's not possible to add on the Pass online

Thanks so much for checking this for me @dande

If this is not showing, we would need to get the Travel Data Pass added at our end.

If you could try calling when you get the chance, for ways to get in touch see our Contact Us page.

Please let me know how you get on 🙂

Leanne.
