I topped up my number but it still not allowing me to make call. I cannot even call 150 and reach the operator. I am in Thailand, can someone help somehow, why there is no life chat option with operator?

Hi @Eidukaityte,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Is it a new SIM or are you a existing EE customer?
If existing, have you recently made any changes to your EE account?
Our live chat teams aren't able to help with pay as you go accounts.

Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

Hi, thanks for replying to me, so many years I had a plan but last 5years changed to top up before leaving uk, just to keep number as its connected to uk banking and normally I top up to just keep number active and I know I have to make chargeable call at least once in 6 months and so far I survived 5 years but this time my balance added but no calls allowing. How to activate my balance....

Yes I left uk my number was working perfectly for 5 years , I have to keep this number for my banking while I am in Thailand but this time seems like it stuck on low balance and doesn't allow calls. I just topped up 5£ just to make 1 chargeable call....

In that 5 years have you done anything on it other than top-up regularly, like make any calls & texts? I believe it may have been deactivated from roaming all those 5 years but you only discover it now when you try to make a call or text.
