Tmobile PAYG top-up

Has anyone successfully topped-up a Tmobile PAYG phone recently? How?  I have tried several ways.  EE Customer Service have tried to help but nothing works.  Does it help to get E E to send a new SIM so that the phone is then an E E PAYG one?  How do I do that?

My Tmobile PAYG phone was given to me for emergencies.  I am age 78 and live alone.  It still works but it will soon run out of credit (I send myself a text message every month to keep it alive)

Try using Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I tried FastTopUp before and it didn't work. I tried it again after seeing your post and it still doesn't work. I see the message "We are not able to accept payment to that number.  Please try again".  That's what I saw before.  Looking at other posts in the community, this problem has been around for several years and doesn't seem to have been fixed, which is why I am asking if the phone can be transferred from Tmobile to E E.  Would I be able to top it up then?

An EE number can always be topped-up. I should phone CS to request your T-M SIM be moved to EE.

I assume that by "phone CS" you mean the 0800 079 8586 number. I tried that from my landline but it doesn't seem to have an option to speak to a real person.  However I eventually discovered that I could top up my Tmobile phone via the landline, which I have now done.  The confirmation text message on my phone advised me to "Move over to EE" by visiting ee.co.uk/movetoee, but that re-directed me to ee.co.uk/why-ee which was just a sales pitch for ALL EE products and didn't help me find out how to move to EE.

So I have worked-around my problem but not answered my original question.  It looks like Tmobile customers are not getting satisfactory customer service from the EE website.  Several links don't work or are broken, and there are no clear instructions about how to switch to an EE account.  This may mean that Tmobile customers like me may simply go elsewhere.

Hi @PeterMartinez1,

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems switching to an EE plan online. If you get in touch with Customer Care on 150, a member of the team will be happy to switch you over.
