Switched to paying from credit but DDs still being taken

I've built up a crazy amount of credit, but was refused a refund in store. So, I switched my billing preference from auto top-up by Direct Debit to the 'pay with credit' option, even though it's going to take literally years to use up.

However, the DDs are still going through. I've searched all the account options in case there's something else I'm supposed to have done, but I can't find anything.

I understand these things don't always happen overnight, but it's been three months now! Meanwhile, my credit is like the never-emptying porridge pot.

You don't pay for PAYG by DD but you may be paying by Direct Card Payment. You can stop it by texting STOP PLAN to 150 which will also stop your current pack auto renewing. The next time you buy a pack it will be paid from your credit.
