Stuck!!

Completely stuck, I'm out in France and had a sim card sent to me for when I return home this week. But i can't use the sim card in any way, because I am in France the helpline is barred, so i can't call to discuss. I can't log into my account because it needs to send me a code, which it won't receive because it's not set up for use in France. I follow the instructions for the app and online chat help, but it's not there. Basically, because the helpline is not free and there is no other way to contact it has completely screwed me over. I left Vodaphone because i had issues with them, but at least I could contact them today about my account transferring to EE with their online help You cant rely on any service provider these days.

All new EE PAYG SIMs need to be registered in the UK first, before roaming is enabled for use abroad.

What were the circumstances that caused you to order a new SIM? If it was a lost/stolen replacement, then the original one is barred as a matter of course.
