Set up recurring payments to Save 10%

On the app when I go to the top up sections it shows that I can set up reoccurring top ups and save 10%. I’ve had reoccurring top ups set up for months and have been charged the full price for my data every time. How do I save the 10% that the apps says I can save?

@TheCeilingGhost : Doesn't it now actually say you can set up Direct Card Payments? Older PAYG plans had Recurring Top-ups that attracted no discount but were convenient while current plans have Direct Card Payments with a 10% discount. You need to switch to Direct Card Payments.

How can I setup the "Direct Card Payments" with specific day? Using Recurring Top-ups have specific day selection, I think it is easier to control for myself.

@richardchan : You don't! Your card will be charged whenever you buy your pack, either manually or recurring, regardless of when this is. Hence you have complete control as you decide when your pack is bought.

i believe you may not aware of the current behavior.

"Direct Card Payments"  offer 5% discount, but it can not be set on specific date

"Recurring Top-ups" no 5% discount, but we can set the top up on specific date.

What I want is 1) get 5% discount and 2) on specific date, what can I do that?

I am fully aware of current behaviour:

  1. "Direct Card Payments"  offer 10% discount
  2. "Recurring Top-ups" are old-hat & can't now be used.

You can't get what you wanna get.

I have the same issue. Set it up because it said there would be a discount and It just takes the normal amount each month without discount.False advertising 😠

Hi @Amypj89 @Prawnyloks

You can certainly set up direct card payments to save 10%, and if this isn't happening then please contact us so we can double check the details.

I set it up on the app where it says set up recurring top up, switch and get 10% off.  Is there somewhere else I should have done this?
