I have an ee SIM in my remote gate opening system but with no phone attached. I can top up as it’s PAYG but how can I check the credit level?

If you temporarily pop your SIM into a phone, you'll be able to register online so you can manage your account via the EE app.

I have the same issue with electric gates. Unfortunately taking out the SIM is not a sensible thing to do. The SIM is contained within a sealed weatherproof box secured with six screws, i.e. not easily accessible and you don't want to risk damaging the waterproof seals.
However, I have found you can get the balance by phoning the help line number. A pain - why can't EE sort this through the app or website?

To register for an EE account you would be sent a PIN to the number.
If you are unable to remove the SIM to view the PIN, please call us and the team will see if they can register this for you over the phone 🙂
