SIM card suspended due to inactivity

My Sim card was suspended due to inactivity, I was told it will be back working within 24hrs by Instagram chat, now is 48hrs and is still not working. I have topped up the account and I am abroad, but I am not getting the Welcome to Argentina message. What else can I do? I cant find the chat option on the EE App. I have activated roaming on the phone.

@NoeliaT   What’s roaming got to do with it as that’s for using your device outside the UK.     You was told by Instagram chat it’ll be working within 24 hours.  Again what’s Instagram chat got to do with it ?   you need to contact EE customer service,  EE don’t use Instagram chat for anything nor do they use what’s app.

You need to read THIS

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@NoeliaT : Sounds like your PAYG SIM may have gone into hibernation due to non-use. If it's not to late you need to phone CS to get it reactivated. I'm not aware that Instagram chat is way to do this.

When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Roaming is not a setting you'll find on any phone, it's an account/SIM-level one.

Many users confuse it with "data roaming" which most phones have - this merely allows the use of mobile data whilst already roaming.
