SIM card not working

Vee147
Visitor

This afternoon my pay as you go SIM card has stopped working, I can't make or receive calls, and have no Internet either.

I've checked service in my area and there are no reported problems.

The only help options I can find online are 48 hour response. The others all involve calling or texting, which i can't do.

I'm using work wi-fi, is there an inkine chat help option for ee?

I need to make an important call this afternoon.

Thanks

Hi @Vee147

Welcome to the Community.

I know it may seem like a simple step, but I'd recommend restarting your device to see if this does the trick first.

I'm presuming you were able to use your services successfully this morning, so you've done the right thing by checking for any known issues using the Coverage Checker.

Is your phone fully up to date with the latest software updates?
Do you have available credit or allowances to use?
Are you able to test your SIM in an alternative device to see what happens?

We don't have an online chat for Pay As You Go customers, but you're welcome to call the team from an alternative line if needed, and one of our Guides can run some further checks.

Speak soon,
