Is it true that free roaming in the EU with PAYG packs will end in June 23?

This is not a mentality i will adopt.  I will support a product that supports my personal expectations (not theirs)

If it's true that EU roaming won't be free any more on PAYG or subscription packs, why does it still say on the website that roaming in the EU is free?

Cuz it's not yet the 6th June.

Roaming charges are being introduced for PAYG from 06/06/23 as either £2.50 / day or £10 / week to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment.

Why don't they put that on their website then? How will anyone buying a new sim know that? I am looking at alternative providers now but how will I know if these providers plan on doing the same if it's not stated on their websites?

Virgin media say roaming is free in the EU. Does anyone know if they plan to change this?

@Jacky12   You ask virgin media that question.

And it’s applicable from the 6th of June, not now and if any one wants to change network they can it’s PAYG not a contract so you’re not tied to the network for a set period.

You also check THIS before you go out of the UK to check costs and you don’t assume anything as assuming you’ll not be charged doesn’t cover you if you are charged and are not aware of it.
