I’m still confused. Sorry. I have a £10 per month PAYG subscription pack, that comeswith 8GB data. Can I use thisto make WhatsApp calls when I’m on holiday in Spain with no wi-fi available where I shall be staying?

@Darlidarli : You may but from 6th June you'll have to pay roaming charges to roam on PAYG.

Thank you, that explains what i had in the back of my head. I even went into an ee shop, but didn’t get a proper answer. So should I text roaming to 150 and buy a month’s roaming “ticket”?

No, @Darlidarli, that's for contract, not PAYG.

@Darlidarli : EE'll let you know nearer the time how it works. I expect you pay £2.50 per day by default unless you opt in for the £10 per week  add-on.
