Roaming Abroad Issue

Hi,

I currently have the £10 sim deal with 2GB data, unlimited texts, 1000mins calls - and naturally it works perfectly fine in the UK. I'm now in Spain for a prolonged period of time and wish to allow roaming abroad whilst over here (£25 optional extra), but haven't succeeded. When I click 'roaming charges' in the app I get "We've had a problem loading this info, please try again in a while". When I text either 'ROAMING PASS' or 'RO SPAIN', I keep on going around in circles (please find attached photos). One says to add an extra, the other says it's fine. Either way, my plan isn't functioning.

I'd appreciate any help.

@AdamHousego : You are on PAYG. The ROAMING PASS only applies to contracts.

How prolonged have you been out of UK?

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Thank you for your answer. I somehow did not know my contract was PAYG.

I've been out of the country for about 48h. 

This is what happens when I text AL to 150.

As you have an active subscription pack you should be able to use your services by purchasing the 24 hour / 7 day roaming add-on. 

Do you have credit available to purchase one of these?

@AdamHousego : Did you receive a msg upon arrival telling you about the charges for roaming in EU on PAYG? Did you buy 1 of the "Roam Like Home" add-ons to be able to use your UK pack allowances there?

Pay-monthly contract is a credit-based plan where you receive a monthly bill and are contractually bound to the network for a minimum term of 2years

PAYG is a top-up based system where you can only spend what you have. You can stay or leave as you see fit.

I believe I have £9.90 when I login to my web account.

I didn't buy one of the 'Roam Like Home' add-ons to be able to do so, no. Is this still an option?

When I landed in the country, I received: "To use data on your phone, you'll need a plan or an add-on. To buy one with a registered card, go to ee.co.uk/myee. To buy extra data with your top up credit, go to add-on.ee.co.uk/text"
