Reactivate overseas

my payg went out of credit last month. I am overseas now and will be going to Italy next month and wish to use my payg there. If I top up my account overseas or when I am in Italy, can I re-activate it through the app and use it immediately? It is not the “first time registration or activation” of the SIM card. Do I still need to make a call in UK to activate the subscription pack? Thanks!

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
