I just found out my phone number was disconnected due to inactivity. Ironically I can't call or text 150 without it to get help directly. I use it for two-factor authentication on many websites! I can't get into my bank account online! And to add insult to injury, I can only log into THIS website only three times without two-factor authentication, and I've now spent the third. If I get logged out again, I won't even be able to engage with this thread further. I need it reconnected ASAP, please!

Sounds like your PAYG SIM may have gone into hibernation due to non-use. If it has, topping-up now would be too late.
When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

I don't know when I last made a chargeable action, it's been a while. I found a text I had previously missed that says my remaining credit was taken away when my number got "disconnected". I can't call/text 150 as it says mobile network unavailable. When I try to top up via my EE account, it asks me to put in the phone number first. When I do, it gives me an error.

I just tried calling that number, says "mobile network not available for voice calls".
