Pay as you go sim

Hello,  just purchased a pay as you go sim from Gatwick airport and intransit to France.

it is not working. What should my unlocked iPhone setting be for the sim to work?

no it was purchased at the Gatwick Kiosk and is supposed to be already activated!

i believe it may be a cellular network configuration setting that’s wrong.... seeing as the phone is normally used in America/Caribbean.

last time it happened and I was able to go into an EE store but this time just in transit and no store available

The SIM card would need to be activated on the EE network in the UK.

You could try completing a manual network search to see if you're able to pick up a network.

My phone accepts the sim, knows it's number but still won't make calls, I can't top it up, tried at a shop and online but I can't figure it out.
