Pay as you go sim

I have just purchased a £10 per month pay as you go sim with 8gb of data however it states 30gb for the first 3 months then 8gb. The 30gb is not reflecting. Please help.

Any extra data would start after the pack allowance has been used. 

Does the extra data show if you text BALANCE to 150?
