My son has a pay as you go SIM and hardly uses the phone I have gotten him a new SIM which doesn't require constant topping up. I have tried to ring 150 to get a PAC code and it says phone disconnected. I tried also text 150will not send and also the PAC message to the alternative number with no success. Is their any way to keep his old number any of you kind people know.
Regards
Sean

Hello @Seanyorky.
Welcome to the EE Community.
When was the last time the SIM was used for any chargeable activity?
Have you tried calling 0800 956 6000?

Your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation after such a long period of non-use.
EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
