Parental controls

During the latest update EE have changed my parental controls, I don't have a credit card and the gentleman in store said they are unable to do anything.

Does anybody know how to resolve this?

Hi @GerardMcaulay In an EE store

Visit your local EE store with your photo ID. We accept a passport, full driver’s licence (photo and paper), EU card or citizen card.

On the phone you'd like to apply the new parental controls to, switch airplane mode on and off, or restart it to apply the controls.

To turn parental controls off, you must complete another credit card age check.

A VPN can bypass this restriction.

Are you sure these are not the blocks/requirements in place by the Online Safety Act as it is unusual that once deactivated they have activated again. It could also be a temporary local network issue.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

@GerardMcaulay How did you have content lock removed in the first place to have it now switched back to being on ?
