I bought a PAYG sim 18 months agai and it worked then and I topped up a month later and it also worked in Norway on that occasion
am now in Italy and topped up with £10 yesterday and I have no signal.

@Julie232 : Looks like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation & then been completely deactivated due to a 17 months period of non-use.
EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

- SOLVED: Can't send/receive calls and texts from anybody, including 150 in Pay as you go
- Pay As You Go - Hibernation? in Pay as you go
- Top up not working in Pay as you go
- EE told me to top up my phone, I did but after a day it is still not working in Pay as you go
- My old pay as you go sim doesnt work even though i dod a top up in Pay as you go
