Hello .. I'm in France, arrived last week, using my rolling monthly PAYG pack with no problem for text/call/data as I have done in the past. Should I have received info by now on how to pay the new daily/weekly fee to continue to do this? Nothing received so far and I don't want to find I'm suddenly paying standard charges! Cant find any helpful info on this in my account. Advice appreciated! Many thanks.

All we've been given is the  Pay as you go roaming (ee.co.uk) booklet. We've yet to be told how we choose which of the charges, daily or weekly, we pay but we must pay them from out PAYG credit & not from any recurring Card Payment.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Got EE text this morning about PAYG roaming charges in EU. Link given at end of text goes to unavailable page. Your link above gets system error. Do you know what is  going on at EE? We are in France and need to get sorted before tomorrow.

Hi @RMV2

Welcome to the community.

Thanks for flagging with us that the link is not working.

If you travel to the EU from June 6th you can choose whether to pay £2.50 per day or £10 per week to use your allowance.

Should you not choose standard rate charges will apply.

Katie 🙂

@Katie_B  Can you please fix the link so we are able to understand how to keep using our phones in EU before your deadline of tomorrow

As it stands, the info provided in your text this morning doesn't give any detail on when the 7 days starts, i.e. if I send the text for 7 days for 10 GBP at 11pm, will I end up with roaming for 6 days and 1 hour or will the roaming give me 168 hours of roaming or will it start the next day or...?

What are the standard rate charges? This morning's text mentions a £3  500MB data pass to access data. Is this a way of buying data to use in the EU without paying the weekly £10 charge while paying standard rates for calls and texts?  Does this data pass have a time limit for using the 500MB. We really do need better info and a working website.

Hi @RMV2

All information for each location will be able to found using our roaming tool

This will include available add-ons and local rates for calls and texts.

This link gives no useful info for PAYG users.  There is no reference to 'available add ons'. It does not address the new situation from 6th June. Please explain how this £3 500MB data pass works. I can find no reference to it at all anywhere on your website.

Hi,

I'm in exactly the same position as the other PAYG contributors here.  I had a text this morning about the new charging regime.  The link at the end displayed an error page.  The link to the booklet mentioned above gave a systems error.  I'm currently in France and need to know urgently how the new regime works and what my options are.  Nothing you've provided so far helps at all.

This can only be described as an utter shambles.  If you're unable to provide the requested information today (via working links, for example),  I would suggest you suspend this change until such time as you have got things properly organised.
