Need to start my current pack early

I am on PAYG, have run out of data, need them now, but my pack will renew in 9 days still. How can I start my pack now? I texted  NOW - and was asked to purchase a new pack. I texted PACK30, then YES, then TOPUP (as I have £40 credit) . And then it stopped there.  What should I do next???

Would it not be easier to just buy a Data Add On until your next Pack Renewal?
