My PAYG stops working in Asia

I have been using my PAYG SIM card from EE since last year, regularly topping it up. Upon returning from the UK to Taiwan, the SIM functioned correctly by manually selecting the local network, allowing me to make and receive calls and send messages, including to EE's 150 service. However, it has recently stopped functioning, except for receiving OTP codes for logging into the EE app. I have changed all local networks, switching on/off roaming, etc. But it doesn’t work.

Could you provide any insights or assistance regarding this issue?

When was the last time you made a chargeable call or text.

Thanks

Can you send & receive texts to other mobiles?

You mention "switching on/off roaming etc" - what specific settings have you altered? Roaming is an account-level config, often confused with "data roaming" - it's an immaterial setting for text-roaming or voice-call-roaming.

It was November 18, Sir. I always check my SIM availability by calling and sending messages to 150. I could top up it as usual and the last time I top up is today morning.

After unable to call, send messages, I tried these three. However, it is the same. I have restarted my phone and the sim taken off and put it again. It is still the same Sir. The settings back to its original state.

On November, I could send messages to other UK Sims. But it stops working as well.

Hi @Haukmin

You'll need to speak to EE CS via Skype on the number in my signature ( UK office hours).

Thanks
