Messages not sending

Hello I am abroad and have been since January. First time I’ve switched my phone on today. I have credit but messages won’t send. Please help with what to do!

@ElisaSeptember   Your sim would of gone to hibernation due to lack of use, you have to make a chargeable call/text at least every 2 month to keep the sim activated.   You will have to call customer services to see if can be reactivated.   Please see THIS

It's gone into hibernation thro' being unused for over 6 months. Within every 180 days you needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
