Why can't you text 150?

You can also buy packs with your credit thro' your online EE a/c.

My account was deactivated for inactivity and so it says I don't have enough credit to message or call 150.

As for the ee account I have tried to access it but to do so I need a messaged code, but due to the deactivated account I cannot receive them to access it.

@Ry50 , if your account has been deactivated due to inactivity, you will have to ring them to get it reactivated as it has gone into hibernation:

https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Pay-as-you-go/Understanding-Pay-As-You-Go-Hibernation-and-how-to-keep-...

I would suggest you take a read, you will or should understand why your number has been deactivated.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I understand but I do not own any other devices to call from to reinstate the account and so I am stuck on what to do since I'm unable to call.

I think you are mixing up cause & effect.

  1. If your SIM is deactivated you can't do anything with it anyway.
  2. If your SIM was deactivated for inactivity & that was less than ~3 months ago you need to call CS to take it out of hibernation. Above ~3 months you've lost it anyway.
  3. You don't need any credit to text 150 in order to buy packs.

No I only got the message 12 days ago about it being deactivated for inactivity and having 3 months to reactivate. But for whatever reason I am unable to send any messages to 150,they simply do not go through to them for whatever reason so I'm unable to purchase a pack to reactivate the account.

You can't purchase a pack now while it is in hibernation. If your SIM is deactivated you can't do anything with it anyway. You need to call CS to get it reactivated.
