I am currently in Iran and have a Pay As You Go EE SIM card. I received a message saying that my SIM will be disconnected in the next few months due to inactivity.
I have £5 credit remaining on my SIM. I am unable to make calls or send texts from Iran because of roaming restrictions.
Could you please confirm if adding more credit to my SIM now will keep it active and prevent it from being disconnected?
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards,
[Yoosef]

Yes, topping up within every 179 days will keep your SIM out of hibernation.
Does it current have a active pack? If so, mind that the top-up doesn't go towards buying that pack for 30 days. Best to Stop the pack.
