Is it better to get a subscription pack or a monthly contract, or are these the same thing?

@Phil3535 : You could buy a pack with up to 125GB data for £30.

A monthly contract is diff from PAYG & usually commits you for at least a year. With PAYG you can stop anytime.

I understand the difference between PAYG and a monthly contract, but how/where does a subscription pack fit in?

A subscription pack is an add-on you can purchase on a PAYG line, that is automatically added on a recurring basis providing you have sufficient credit on your phone on the relevant date.

You can stop a pack at anytime, you can't do so with a pay-monthly contract.
