I bought a £10 EE sim inserted it and still no balance please help

I bought a SIM and paid £10 for 8gb data 500mins and unlimited texts I've inserted into phone. I've sent a message to 150 saying pack 10 they said you're on an old pack 10 update bankcard details to activate I've done that balance still at zero please can somebody help many thanks

When did you purchase the SIM and is this the first time you have topped up? 

Could you text BALANCE to 150 and let me know the full reply?
