Did you mean:

I believe my pay as you go may be in hibernation, but I can't reach anyone.

I am abroad and unable to text 150 (error - 10) or call to figure this out, but I believe my number may have gone into hibernation. I have recently topped up but still unable to call or make texts.

I was originally told by a salesman that my PAYG number would never go into hibernation, and I didn't need to top-up to keep it active, I guess he was wrong?

Is someone able to contact me by phone or email to resolve this? I am unable to dial out.

Use skype from a laptop or your phone to call the 0800 number for free...

You only need to sign up for an account, and dont need to top up, just make sure to change the number to begin +44

Simples....

@mikeyc9  How can anyone call you if your sim has gone in to hibernation. You don’t have a signal on the device to receive a call.  If customer services call you it’s still a phone call so it’ll not work.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Well firstly, they won't call me. That's obvious.

I do have a signal, so maybe I'm not in hibernation? Still getting code 10 error when I text though.

I will call them through Skype, thanks to the person who suggested that!

@mikeyc9  when you changed  from contract to PAYG did you use that Sim card to make a call/text in the UK when on PAYG before you left the UK ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Mikey9

Can you make calls? If not, do you hear an automated message?

Also, please let us know if the SIM has been used in the UK since you moved to pay as you go?

Leanne 🙂
