I have received this text whilst abroad for a few months. How can I resolve this problem as i don't want to loose my number?
Hi, just a reminder that you need to make a chargeable call/text or use data otherwise you may lose your number and any available credit. To check your balance text BA to 150.

@Brucewinship : Within every 179 days You need to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

I also received this message today, but I have topped up within the last 179 days, so does anybody know why I have this message? I have been on this pay-as-go plan for years with no probs.

Thanks for confirming @ascott18.
In this case, I am not sure as to why you would be receiving these alerts.
I'd recommend giving us a call so our customer care team can check your account.
Katie

I'd recommend calling 150 from your EE handset @ascott18.
Alternatively, the team can be contacted on 07953 966 150 from any landline or provider.
Please be sure to keep us updated,
Katie 🙂
