I have just received a text reminding me of the above. I thought it was 179 days in which this takes effect or has this changed? I last made a chargeable call on the 26th March which is 49 days ago so I wondered why I should receive this text so early. I should be grateful if somebody out there could clarify the position. Thanks

You get that msg 60 days after your last chargeable action. You sure your last chargeable call wasn't about 15th March?

Hi Chris,Thanks for replying. Full message is "Hi, just a reminder you need to make a chargeable call/text or use data otherwise you may lose your number and any available credit. To check your balance text BA to 150" I used to have a smart phone but now use a flip TT phone. I dont use the phone much and just top up when I need to.

Hi,
Thanks for replying
I have just checked my mobile phone and it was definitely on the 26 March that I made a chargeable call. Thanks for letting me know this msg is sent 60 days after my chargeable call (albeit EE are about 10 days out). When I received the text I was thinking I had to make a chargeable call straight away but I see now its just letting you know how many days you have left before you lose number and available credit. In my case it seems to be 169 days not 179 days but thats not a problem I can deal with that.
