EE sim plan

When I try to top up my sim plan, there is a pop-up ad about the £10 for 20GB plan promotion. However, once I click the ad, it shows “internal server error”. I am wondering if the deal is already cancelled. If so, please remove the ad. If not, please help to fix the link. Thank you very much. This deal is really attractive.

@Stanely2025 : That offer would be for buying a new PAYG SIM with a promotional offer of extra data for a limited period, not for buying a pack on an existing PAYG SIM.

The page where it should be on sale, PAYG SIMs , is failing at the mo'.

It could be the case, however, once I would like to take a look at the “summer deals”, and sign in for better deals. It shows “internal server errors” again. It is found that the website always “internal server error”.

Hi @Stanely2025

Thanks for coming to the community.

The current Pay as you go extra data offer would not show available for existing customers. These can be viewed and ordered on the Best Pay As You Go SIM Deals & Offers page and would come with a new number. To view and order a new SIM, you would need to select the plan type first and then which Pay as you go plan you would like.

If you are getting an error message in your EE account, please give us a call and the team will get this checked for you.

Leanne.

@Leanne_T : That PAYG link you gave is still giving "Sorry! We couldn't find that page ..." as it has done all day.

Hi @XRaySpeX

This is working for me, just to make sure I have tried on another device and browser.

Could you try another browser, and if you're logged into an EE account try logging out to see if the page loads?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne

Sorry, @Leanne_T , I assumed it was another PAYG page where you could actually buy the SIMs, not just info about them.

Hello @Leanne_T

Thank you very much for your reply. My case is that I bought the £15 for 25GB sim card last month. And it is almost time to top up £15 more to “continue” my plan. I am not a heavy data user, therefore, I look for a cheaper plan. Even the bundle plan is with less data fine. The link “Best Pay As You Go SIM Deals & Offers page” suggested by you above does not work at all, it also shows “internal server error” again.

I would like to ask is it possible to top up £10 for less data for my sim card?

Yes. Before your current £15 pack expires top to at least £10 & then text PACK10 to 150 to buy the £10 pack. When your current £15 pack expires the £10 pack will kick in replacing the £15 pack. This will give you 8GB, 500 minutes, unlimited texts for 30 days.
