EE closing an account without notification

So I have an ee sim in a phone for my 90yr old father in law. Just seen online EE have closed the account and taken the credit money that was on the phone. Can I ask where is the money and how can an elderly person on a small pension have a mobile for emergencies?

Yeah like calling the BT Clock every 3 months would keep the sim active 🙂

Thanks for the help have the no. reactivated but they have taken the credit that was on it so just need to find out what happen to it.

Interesting that they do not show any address where you live, when you log in so how you are to keep this up dated.

When it's taken out of hibernation its credit should be reinstated.

PAYG a/c's don't hold your postal addy but why do you need it to keep updated?
