Double data promotion not being applied and more problems

My sim recently had an internal problem and I've had managers scratching their heads (my account was active but EE back end said it was not). Got that sorted and I topped up £10 and bought the £10 Pack with double data 20gb instead of 8gb as advertised on the homepage and in my account pack page. Only 8gb applied.. Contacted EE via Facebook and they said some rubbish about I chose an old pack and not the new one..

Can anyone actually help please? I just want what was advertised and what I paid for.

This is a new pack to me and by the terms I should be able to buy this promo 3 times.

I'm having the same problem. They reactivated account but somethings still not working.

Same situation. Hibernation > re-activated > Top-up credit > can't buy a pack or use the credit.

EE manager says never before seen and is an internal problem.

@noofo : You can't buy a pack with double data on an existing PAYG SIM. You need to buy a new promotional PAYG SIM to get double data.

It advertised it in my account and I bought it without mention of new sim card.  As you know, "subscription packs" are exactly that, you don't receive a new sim every time you switch packs.

I can't believe that! It is advertised in the EE Shop to buy a new PAYG SIM but you can't extend that to buying a new pack on an existing SIM.

I'll wait for someone from EE to respond to my ticket.
