Hello,
My Mother has a simple subscription for her mobile phone. She is in her eighties and is completely not tech savvy. I manage her account for her whenever she runs into problems. This month she has run out of minutes and asked if I could top it up for her, ahead of her monthly renewal. I accessed her account online and applied £10 credit, then I attempted to apply that credit to purchase a minutes add on. I received an error message saying that there is an "Add Ons Purchase Error". Looking at the forums, this issue seems to be incredibly widespread and has been going on for some time.
Could someone please advise how this can be resolved? Looking at the other forum responses, I have the added problem that it is not my account and I am not accessing 150 with the instrument connected to the account. Attempting to instruct my mother how to do any of this over the phone is a complete no no, due to her age and lack of understanding of technology.
I would appreciate a quick response as the mobile is one of her important lifelines.
Many thanks

If your mother calls us on 150 from her mobile, the team will be able to help get those extra minutes in place.
If she can't call us from the mobile for any reason see other ways to contact us.

Thank you, XRaySpeX, but that is the problem - trying to explain to her how to text a message would be like explaining Quantum Physics to her. Ideally, I need and EE Admin to apply the add on for her.
