Hi,
I have been abroad and kept my number for my return as I have been a loyal EE customer since moving to the UK almost 15 years ago. I intend to pick up a 30 day plan when I return, but I noticed that for me, it will cost 30 GBP for 125GB, but a new customer can get 150GB for just 18 GBP.
Is this a mistake? Or am I best to bin my old SIM and get a new one?
Thanks in advance!

No, you either get a standard pack on your existing SIM or you buy a new SIM with a promotional offer of extra data for the same money.
How long you been abroad?
When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
