Closure of Mobile phone due to lack of use

Steptrom

Having received.

Hi, as you haven't made a chargeable call/text or used data for six months, you will now lose any remaining credit (as per our terms and conditions). Your number will also be disconnected in the next three months and we'll text you beforehand to let you know. Please call us on 150 if you would like to discuss this.

I attempted to ring 150, as instructed and was met with “Calls to this number are barred”

which means I wasn’t given 3 months to ring. This was an oversight on my part. But unacceptable that I cannot request a reinstatement as is suggested in the sms message. With no phone now how can I proceed? I cannot visit a local store as am currently abroad.

During the 3month grace period between suspension and outright disconnection, all outbound call attempts are usually redirected to 150 precisely for this reason.

If you're abroad and are thus roaming, the behaviour may well be different. You'll need to make contact via alternative means, which may well mean contacting CS on +44 7953 966150
