Quite suddenly, starting Dec 2022, my ee pay as you go phone can't receive texts or send texts while in the USA. I am unable to get access to any of the available networks like T-Mobile, Verizon, or ATT. It has always worked before, for approximately the last 10 years. It works fine in the UK. I thought that the phone was just too old, so ee switched the sim card while in the UK to a much newer phone. Again, works in the UK but not in the US. I have at least 14 UKP credit, so it's not that it's out of money. What's wrong? Thanks!

Hi. I did contact the manufacturer and he had no idea what I was talking about. LOL! But, for now, I have some good news. My phone has suddenly sprung to life with the T-Mobile carrier! I think EE tech support may have fixed it. I got two emails from them saying they were looking into it, then another saying that they are closing my issue. At the same time, all my many "test" texts came through, including at test text from someone name Glenn. Perhaps it did have something to do with fixing the code having to do with coming from a legacy plan, but I don't know that for sure. Right now, I haven't moved the phone from the place where it started to work, for fear of losing the signal. LOL! Seriously, I will believe it's fixed when I can turn it on and off in all locations and still get a good signal. For now, I think it's fixed and I appreciate everyone's help with this! Thank you all!
