Hi, are there any charges to receive texts and calls when in an EU country as a PAYG customer? And will this change from June 2023? If there are charges, do these comes out of my credit on my account? Thanks, Laura.

Not to receive, but only to make, from 6th June 2023. To be paid for out of PAYG credit, not by any recurring card payment.

Hello, I have the same question. I have the same pay as you go package (£5 montly), now I am in Italy and would like to know whether I would be charged if I received a call from the UK. I cannot find this information anywhere. Yesterday I got a call from a UK phone, based in the UK, which lasted 19 seconds, and it looks like I was charged 1p...
If you know the answer to your original question by now, @fradgoff, please let me know. Or anyone else. Thanks!

Thank you - but why when was I charged 1p when receiving a 19-second call from the UK, while I was in Italy? Can you please clarify if, for PAYG customers who do not buy special roaming packs, it is free to receive calls from the UK (from UK mobile phones) when one is in a EU country? Many thanks!

Thanks for coming here.
Do you have the Roam like Home add-on to use your allowance in Italy?
Does the charge show as a received call in your My EE account?
